These conditions apply to all itineraries provided by Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd registered no 12512739, unless otherwise stated.

What’s Included?

Tailored art tuition, guiding and hosting, all accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with a soft beverage, fully-insured group airport transfers, and group internal transport in an air-conditioned private mini-bus, excursions, and entrance fees as stated on the individual itineraries, service taxes.

We will provide the following equipment; Parasols, easels, folding chairs or stools, and cleaning equipment. We encourage you to contact Kyle to discuss what type of canvas or paper you prefer, and for advice on any other personal materials you will need to bring for your holiday.

What’s Not Included?

International flights, visa fees (where applicable), travel or effects insurance, alcoholic beverages, items of a personal nature, gratuities, optional or additional activities, or your personal art materials you wish to use.

The Detailed Stuff…Booking – Pricing and Payment

The Art Escape price quoted is subject to change without prior notice. Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd will confirm all prices before you book your holiday, and what is included and excluded. Flights are NOT included.

A deposit made payable to Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd amounting to 25% (unless otherwise stated) of the total cost of the Art Escape, together with a signed Booking Form, is needed to confirm your place.

The final balance is due a minimum of 60 days prior to your departure. For bookings less than 60 days prior to your departure, full payment is required.

Pricing may be subject to changes, in the event of currency fluctuations or the introduction of new taxes, however, Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd will advise of any changes if these occur.

Please note: The trips require a minimum of 4 participating artists to depart. We strongly recommend you do not book any non-refundable flights or services before the trip is guaranteed to depart.

Accommodation and Supplements

If you are a solo traveller and you would prefer a single room, single supplements will usually apply, from the hotels. This will be confirmed at the time of booking. If you are happy to share accommodation with a fellow solo traveller, let us know at the time of booking. 

If you have special dietary or accommodation and travel requirements, please confirm at the time of booking, so that we may advise all parties applicable in order to meet your needs where necessary prior to your trip.

Flights and Transfers

You are responsible for booking your flights. However, we are happy to put you in touch with our contact at SL Ride.com in Sri Lanka who can help you arrange your flights if you prefer.

The passenger tickets issued by the airline, when issued to you following your booking with them, will constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets and/or passengers.

Your arrival day and departure day are on the dates advertised and confirmed by Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd when booking.

Transfers from and to Bandaranaike Airport during your Art Escape in Sri Lanka are included. In the event of flight delays or cancellations which means you cannot travel with the rest of the group, this may incur fees for an airport transfer.

Group transfers are included throughout via a fully-insured air-conditioned mini-bus. Associated fuel, toll and parking expenses are included.

Transport for additional excursions not included in the group itinerary may incur fees which will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellations​

All cancellations should be made in writing and sent to the registered office of Sri Lankan Art Escapes, at Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd, 5 New Street, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3AD. Only upon receipt of the cancellation will the cancellation procedure be put into place.

If you cancel your trip we will endeavour to rebook your place with another customer. On cancellations made outside 90 days prior to the date of departure, deposits will be returned less any expenses incurred, unless deposits were stated as non-refundable at the time of booking. Deposits are not refundable for any cancellations between 90 to 61 days prior to the date of departure. A charge of 50% of the total cost of the Art Escape will apply for cancellations between 60 and 45 days prior to the date of departure. Inside 45 days a charge of 100% of the cost of the Art Escape will apply. These cancellation conditions should be covered by your travel insurance. This procedure applies to all Art Escape itineraries booked via Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the holiday, you will receive a full refund of monies paid to us.

Insurance

It is a condition of booking that you take out comprehensive travel insurance. This should be done at the time your booking is confirmed and your deposit paid. All travellers should be fully insured against accidents, all medical eventualities, repatriation, delay, cancellation, curtailment, loss or damage, and default. Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd or any company acting on its behalf cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage and personal effects. This should be covered by your travel insurance policy.

Indemnity and Liability

It is the responsibility of each traveller to follow all lawful directions and advice of excursion operators during the course of activities undertaken during your trip. Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd accepts no responsibility for any illness, accident or loss whatsoever incurred in the course of the safari or for any expense from such illness, accident or loss.

Responsibility

Neither Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of the company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in these pages or any other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not. Some companies during the Art Escape will require that you agree to their terms and conditions as well as to the terms and conditions already listed above. Their cancellation procedures may also alter. In such a case their conditions will apply and supersede the terms and conditions of Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd.

Alteration of Itineraries

We have worked hard to make sure that our itineraries and content offer the best opportunities for a great experience for you. If unfortunately, local conditions necessitate, Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd and any company acting on its behalf, reserve the right to withdraw any feature or alter the itinerary.

Passports and Visas

It is the sole responsibility of travellers to ensure that all passport and visa requirements are fulfilled prior to departure. Passports must have at least 6-month validity from the date of your RETURN and two spare blank pages for the entry and exit stamps.

Health

Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd reserves the right to use pictures and media content taken during your Art Escape which may contain your image. Sri Lankan Art Escapes Ltd owns the copyright to all pictures taken by them or on their behalf.
